In this lesson, we shall talk about Human Vital Organs and their functions
Definition of Human Vital Organs
Human body consists of five organs that are regarded as Human Vital Organs, These organs are vital for survival of Humans.
If any of the five vital organs stops functioning, the death of that organism is likely without medical intervention.
Names of Human Vital Organs in the Body
These five major Vital Organs of Human body are:
1- The Brain
2- The Heart
3- The Kidney
4- The Liver
5- The Lungs
Brief Explanations and Diagrams of Human Vital Organs
1. The Brain:
The brain controls the whole body. It is responsible for sending signals and messages to all other parts of the body. The brain is the part in charge of our thoughts, memory and feelings. It helps us in storing information and remembering of past events. The brain plays important roles in our daily thinking and perception of the general world. It sends and receives signals from other parts of the body and helps in acting upon any inner feelings as quickly as possible.
2. The Heart:
The heart helps in pumping of the blood all over the the body. It is responsible for the circulating of the blood and how the blood flows around the body. The inability of the heart to perform its assigned function in pumping of the blood is probably the end of life of the person involved. It ensures proper functioning of the blood being circulated al over the body.
3. The Kidney:
This helps in removing waste and unuseful fluids from our body. The waste can be removed from the body through the help of urine. Urine is a liquid waste presents in the body as a result of drinking water or liquid substances The kidney helps the body to remove this waste after the body retain the useful liquid it needs for its survival.

The Liver: This helps in breaking down of harmful chemicals,
breakdown of drugs, filtering of blood, secretion of bile, production of
blood-clotting proteins and many others
5. The Lungs:
The lungs helps to remove carbon dioxide from our body and responsible for removing oxygen from the air we breathe
It is very important to take note of the following facts about the Human body:
1. Human body has a lot of cells that help in carrying out its day to day activities.
2- Water makes more that fifty percent of human body. Hence, human body contains lots of water. Water has lots of functions to perform in human body. It helps in moisturizing the body and its systems
3- Human brain has many hundreds of cells which ensure its proper functioning and reasoning.
2. There are at least ten times as many bacterial in the human
body as cells.
3. The average adult takes over twenty thousand breaths per day.
5. Adults excrete about 1.42 liters of urine every day.
